在 @Cryolitia 的强烈要求下，我重新把这个核查中的问题摆了出来。


这是个挺难弄的问题：我们是个纪念馆。如果有人把溢美之词加到逝者头上，然后被另一些人反对，认为事实并非如此，而我们作为纪念馆的管理者和维护者，应该怎么做？

尊重逝者及其家属的叙述会被认为是「虚构创作」，但字字锱铢必较则纪念馆本身存在的合法性甚至都会遭到质疑。这当中的平衡并不容易。

你的选择是什么呢？

very minor edit - see extended description 
Changed spellings to Canadian English.
I know we always prefered the shortest forms because they're easier to type and sometimes slightly easier to read.
But now I'm using Grammarly, it can suggest Canadian English spellings throughout the whole document, therefore we can achieve greater consistency without missing any words.
